Statesmen of the Week: Albert Feixas and Emily Sjoberg

Oskaloosa--Men's soccer player Albert Feixas (So., Santa Coloma de Farners, Spain, Exercise Science) and women's shotgun sports athlete Emily Sjoberg (So., Citrus Heights, Calif., Business Management) have been named the Statesmen of the Week for the week of September 15-21.

Feixas scored twice in William Penn's only game of the week, leading the Statesmen to a 4-2 victory over No. 23 Baker last Saturday.  The sophomore scored in the 52nd minute and again just three minutes later, unassisted.  It was part of a four-goal second half for WPU.  He paced the navy and gold with four shots.

Sjoberg helped William Penn to a third-place finish at the Midland Invitational last Saturday and Sunday.  The sophomore finished second in the Female High Overall Athlete standings, hitting 278 of her 300 targets.  She was 98-for-100 in Skeet, 97-for-100 in Trap, and 83-for-100 in Sporting Clays.  Sjoberg was just one shot shy of the Female HOA title.
