Statesmen of the Week: Wyatt Kresser and Emma Billings

Oskaloosa--Men's shotgun sports athlete Wyatt Kresser (Jr., Independence, Iowa, Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management) and women's soccer player Emma Billings (So., Salt Lake City, Utah, Psychology) have been named the Statesmen of the Week for the week of September 29-October 5.

Kresser placed second in the High Overall Athlete standings as he helped William Penn win the Hastings Invitational last Saturday and Sunday.  The junior's score of 359-for-400 was headlined by a 99-for-100 in Skeet.  He also posted scores of 94-for-100 in Trap, 84-for-100 in Sporting Clays, and 82-for-100 in Super Sporting.

Billings stopped five shots last Saturday as the Statesmen defeated William Woods 3-0.  The sophomore's shutout is her second of the year.
