Statesmen of the Week: Samuel Arnaud and Kaya Caprini

Oskaloosa--Men's golfer Samuel Arnaud (Fr., Saint-Maur-des-Fosses, France, Biology) and women's volleyball player Kaya Caprini (Sr., Minneapolis, Minn., Psychology and Human Services) have been named the Statesmen of the Week for the week of October 6-12.

Arnaud guided William Penn to a sixth-place finish at the Central Classic last Monday and Tuesday.  The freshman carded an 80 in sloppy conditions on Monday, highlighting his day with a pair of birdies.  He then tacked on two more birdies as part of his 76 on Tuesday.  Overall, Arnaud's final tally of 156 tied for 17th in the 87-player field.

Caprini posted 17 digs along with an assist against MidAmerica Nazarene last Friday.  The senior then posted 20 digs in addition to an ace versus Park a day later.  She averaged 6.17 digs per set over the weekend.
