Statesmen of the Week: Koby Higginbotham and Piper Fowler

Oskaloosa--Koby Higginbotham (Fr., Knoxville, Iowa, Exercise Science) and Piper Fowler (Fr., Cleveland, Tenn., Psychology) have been named the Statesmen of the Week for the week of January 26-February 1.

Higginbotham started his collegiate career with an event win at the Grinnell Invitational last Saturday.  He took the 60-meter hurdle crown with a time of 8.04 seconds that eclipsed the NAIA's 'B' standard.

Fowler was also a champion last Saturday, earning the 180-pound crown at the Midland Open.  She was 4-0 on the day, including two falls, one technical fall, and one decision.
