Bio

Drew Mason is in his second year as an Athletic Communications Graduate Assistant.

Mason is a 2025 graduate of William Penn University with a degree in New Media. While at WPU, Mason played football as a running back and long snapper. He also assisted in numerous broadcasts on the Statesmen Sports Network as a play-by-play commentator, color commentator, technical director, replay coordinator, and camera operator.

Mason was also an intern in the Sports Information office, serving as the host of the “Coaches Show” while also writing feature stories and working on the commentary teams for the Statesmen Sports Network.  His time with the network was highlighted by calling the 2025 Heart of America Athletic Conference Men’s and Women’s Wrestling Championships in 2025.

Mason is currently working on his Master’s of Sports Management degree at William Penn.
