WPU Faces Challenges at Dordt Invitational

Sioux Center--The William Penn competitive dance team encountered some hurdles at the Dordt Invitational last Saturday, finishing in eighth place. 

The Statesmen scored 70.3 points for their routine, while Midland claimed the top spot with a score of 88.47.

"Dance faced adversity this week. Having two girls out from injuries, we reworked the dance on Thursday night. For those circumstances, I think we put out one of our best performances this past weekend," said Head coach Abby Reynolds. "They were clean, strong, and most of all, worked together to overcome! Very proud of this team and the legacy we are building"

Next Up: The Statesmen will return home to host the William Penn Invitational Sunday.
