Trio Named Scholar-Athletes

Oskaloosa--A total of three Statesmen competitive dancers were honored for their excellence in the classroom as they were named 2025-2026 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

Mackenzie Monahan (Sr., Madrid, Spain, Human Services) leads the navy and gold athletes with a 3.95 Grade Point Average entering this spring.

Kate Coley (Jr., Streator, Ill., Psychology) is next at 3.85, while Kylie Coley (Jr., Streator, Ill., Business Management) is closely behind at 3.73.

Kate and Kylie Coley are two-time honorees, while Monahan's award is her first.

To be eligible for the award, athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale, have attended the nominating institution for one full year prior to nomination, and must appear on the sport's eligibility paperwork.
