Five Lauded by NFF Hampshire Honor Society

Oskaloosa--Five veteran members of the William Penn football team were awarded for their excellence in the classroom and on the gridiron as the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame announced the 2026 NFF Hampshire Honor Society.

Liam Bryant (Sr., Jackson, Mo., Physical Education) led the quintet with a 3.98 Grade Point Average entering the spring semester, while Cole Britton (Sr., Jackson, Mo., Industrial Technology) was next at 3.75.

Dylan Frulla (Sr., Cordova, Tenn., Exercise Science) (3.52), Matt Mehrhoff (Sr., Fenton, Mo., Business Management) (3.34), and Willie Page (Sr., San Diego, Calif., Business Management) (3.28) also met the criteria.

Established in 2007, the Hampshire Honor Society has now honored 23,605 student-athletes, including a record 2,633 individuals from 369 schools this year.

To be eligible for the award, individuals must be at least either a senior who is graduating and just completed his final year of playing eligibility, or a graduated player who has been out of high school for at least three years.  Additionally, the nominee must be a starter or contributor during the 2025 season and maintain a 3.20 Grade Point Average.
