Loving, Van Donselaar Receive Scholar-Athlete Laurels
Oskaloosa--Two members of the William Penn men's wrestling team were recognized for their academic achievements, earning the distinction of 2024-2025 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes recently.
Kaleb Loving (So., Aledo, Ill., Secondary Education) led the team with an impressive 3.85 GPA as the spring semester began.
Just behind him was Ryan Van Donselaar (Sr., Otley, Iowa, Exercise Science), who maintained a solid 3.50 GPA, reflecting his strong academic performance.
Both Loving and Van Donselaar are receiving this prestigious award for the first time.
To be eligible for the award, athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale, have attended the nominating institution for one full year prior to nomination, and must appear on the sport's eligibility paperwork.
