WPU Drops Conference Dual to Graceland
Oskaloosa--The William Penn men's wrestling team earned two individual victories but fell to Graceland 41-9 in a Heart of America Athletic Conference dual Tuesday evening.
Starting at 149 pounds, Brody Brisker (Fr., Wilton, Iowa, Sports Management) put the Statesmen on the board first, earning a 10-4 decision for a 3-0 advantage.
The Statesmen did not answer again until No. 20 Lane Scorpil (Sr., Columbus Junction, Iowa, Business Management) earned a 10-7 decision at 133-pounds.
Up Next: William Penn travels to Marshall, Mo. for the Missouri Valley open January 23.
