Lange Collects Sixth Career Heart Golfer of the Week Accolade

Oskaloosa--Olivia Lange (Sr., Buckeburg, Germany, Business Management) was rewarded for a strong battle against a challenging course as she was named the Heart of America Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Week Monday, presented by Mammoth.

A six-time winner of the weekly award (second this season), Lange paced William Penn to a runner-up finish at the TPC Deere Run Invitational last Monday and Tuesday.

At a venue that is played on the PGA Tour, the senior was gifted nothing, earning a second-place effort in the 50-player field.

She finished with a three-round score of 243, including rounds of 82, 80, and 81.  Lange managed just one birdie in her first two combined rounds, but tallied five in her last 18 holes of competition.

For the year, Lange owns a 77.4 stroke average over nine rounds with a low round of 69.  She is a two-time tournament medalist this fall and has been in the top 10 in all four of her competitions.

The award is the second for WPU this year.
