Lange’s Heart Preview Title Leads to Heart Weekly Award

Oskaloosa--Olivia Lange (Sr., Buckeburg, Germany, Business Management) was rewarded for topping her league foes as she named the Heart of America Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Week Monday, presented by Mammoth.

Lange, who has now won seven career weekly laurels (three this year), guided William Penn to second place at the Heart Preview last Monday and Tuesday.

The senior led the 45-player field with a final tally of 151, including a 76 on Monday and a 75 on Tuesday.  She posted five birdies at the Preview.

Lange wrapped up the fall campaign with a 77.1 stroke average (11 rounds), including seven rounds in the 60s and 70s (low of 69).  She has now won three titles in 2024-2025 and was in the top 10 in all five of her competitions.

The award is the third for WPU this year.
