Three Named CSC Academic All-District Honorees

Oskaloosa--A trio of William Penn women's soccer players were honored for strong 2025 seasons in and out of the classroom as they earned academic all-district honors from College Sports Communicators.

Eline Wijdicks (Fr., Bennebroek, Netherlands, New Media), with a 4.00 Grade Point Average, Emma Billings (So., Salt Lake City, Utah, Psychology), with a 3.79 mark, and Lilly Cote (Sr., Sioux City, Iowa, Psychology), at 3.55, all garnered the recognition.  Cote is now a two-time winner, while Billings and Wijdicks are both first-time recipients.

Cote ended her senior campaign with team highs in goals (4), assists (3), and points (11).  She notched one game-winner in 2025.

Billings posted a 2.84 Goals Against Average with 39 saves.  The sophomore notched three shutouts this fall.

Wijdicks finished the year with one assist.

The trio led WPU to a 3-13-1 record and a total of four shutouts.

The award combines both athletic and academic achievements.  To be eligible for the award, individuals must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have been enrolled at the nominating institution for one year (transfers use grades from their previous institution), and have a 3.50 Grade Point Average.  Additionally, individuals must compete in 90% of games or start in at least 66% of games.
