Burt Honored by League

Oskaloosa--Phoebe Burt (Sr., Coralville, Iowa, Sociology) finished high in her event last Friday, and for her effort she was named Heart of America Athletic Conference Women's Field Athlete of the Week Monday, presented by WinWon Technologies.

The senior garnered her second weekly accolade (both this year) as she led William Penn at the Grand View Viking Classic.

Burt placed second in the discus throw with a mark of 143-0.

Burt leads the Heart in the shot put at 42-0.75, while being second in the discus (150-5) and 25th in the hammer throw (124-7).

The award is the second of the year for WPU.
