Cotter Garners Heart Wrestler of the Week Honor

Oskaloosa--Brittany Cotter (So., Katy, Texas, Nursing) posted a perfect record last week and was rewarded for her performance by being named Heart of America Athletic Conference Women's Wrestler of the Week Monday.

Cotter earned her first career award with an unblemished showing at the William Penn Duals last Saturday.

The sophomore went 6-0 on the day, including posting four technical falls and one fall in addition to receiving one forfeit.  She helped the Statesmen to victories over Simpson and Iowa Central CC (exhibition).

The award is the first ever in the history of the program.
