Baez Dilone Earns Heart Wrestler of the Week

Oskaloosa--After a flawless weekend on the mat, Victoria Baez Dilone (Grad., Madrid, Spain, Master's of Sports Management) has been named the Heart of America Athletic Conference Women's Wrestler of the Week, presented by Musco Lighting.

Baez Dilone collected her first weekly honor following a perfect 6–0 run at the Missouri Valley Open last Friday and Saturday.

En route to her 124-pound title in her weight class, she collected three falls and a technical fall.

She showed her dominance in the semifinal round, rolling past Iowa's Cali Leng with an 11–0 technical fall in just 1:46. Baez Dilone then secured the championship by defeating McKendree's Shelby Moore with a decisive 5–1 victory. Leng entered the weekend ranked fifth in the NCAA, while Moore held the #1 ranking.

The honor marks the second weekly award of the year for William Penn.
