The Statesmen women's cross country team hits the course looking for improvements as it enters the 2024 campaign.

Third-year Head Coach Caleb Drake led the crew to an eighth-place finish in last year's Heart of America Athletic Conference Championship.

Briana Admire (So., Galesburg, Ill., Biology) and Roselaure Fuller (Sr., Pella, Iowa, Nursing) are set to head the navy and gold in 2024.  Admire's top 6K time from a year ago was 24:17.4, while Fuller's best time was 27:19.2.

The duo of Morgan Taylor (Jr., Galesburg, Ill., Nursing), with a top time of 30:50.8, and Avery Waterhouse (So., Olds, Iowa, Nursing), with a top time of 31:17.1, are also back in the navy and gold.

Julie Granahan (Jr., Pella, Iowa, Kinesiology) enters as a newcomer with experience at the junior college level.

Schedule/Conference

William Penn begins the campaign Saturday in Pella at the Central Invitational.  It is the first of four regular-season meets prior to the Heart Championship on November 9 in Cedar Rapids.
